what is Yunivers ?

Imagine our student’s days. Not much money for everything. We are not financially independent. We are relying on the student loan, parents, begging from parents, borrow from friends. Some of us did part time jobs. Yeah life was tough back then. After college, we carry the burden of students’ loan. We work and salary for fresh grads aren't that much. Yet, we need to keep up with the rising cost of living. 

Now, think when is the last time we switch on the television and watch the mainstream channel. Now imagine when is the last time youth switch on or read the main stream media? 

Imagine that a youth want to put a news of his club activities or his previous adventure in Lombok in mainstream media. Will mainstream media view that activities as news worthy?

Yunivers is a news channel for millennial. Our target market is university students and young professional age between 18 to 27 years old. The target market make sense because the majority of the population is within this age group.

The idea behind Yunivers is to create an avenue for youth to empower themselves; financially and emotionally. The portal will give youth a voice to tell the world what is important to them. In this portal, there is no such thing as event that is not newsworthy. Every subscribers can upload their news to the portal, and subject to the moral and local laws, we will not reject the said news.

Right now, we are operating from the current social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,  and youtube. We also have a website to explain what we are doing. 

We are in the midst of developing our mobile apps. Once ready, we will gradually migrate all our contents to the Mobile apps. 

At the end, Yunivers mobile apps will be like a TV news channel, but the contents will be contributed by the subscribers. Yunivers will democratise the news channel, so every one can be in the news, minus the biases, minus the influence of any interested parties. 

Once the apps is ready, we will update you how you can make money from it.

Yunivers also provides social media services for events. For example, Langkah 2017 a charity run had engaged us to produce promotional videos and run promotional activities for the said events in the social media. This is where collaboration with 3rd party production company is crucial for us.

From time to time, we sell our merchandises and combine that with competition. Users that buy our merchandise need to share the merchandise purchased in their own social media with a designated hashtag. Posting with the most “Like” will win the competition. 

It is our policy to hire capable, talented youth to work for us. We put our faith on youth. Yunivers is not just trying to create a sustainable and profitable company. We are creating a movement. We are creating youth movement that can help to make this world a better place.
